Lisoski v. McCarty

After six days of Trial, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of Dr. McCarty.  The case involved a below the knee amputation of an 89 year old Plaintiff.  Plaintiff alleged that an infection developed during palliative care that went undiagnosed and untreated.  Plaintiff’s demand during closing was $400,000.  The jury disagreed and returned its defense verdict in one hour.
